First to explain

I thought I should explain myself. I don't know how many of you have read the talk given by President Uchtdorf in the April 2010 young woman's conference called "Your Happily Ever After" but it made HUGE impact on my life. (If you haven't read it i highly suggest it!!) This talk has inspired my entire life, as well as the title of this blog. What comes with a happily ever after? Well a prince of course, but it is so much more then marrying a beautiful man, because although marriage will be a beautiful thing, I am well aware that rest does not follow marriage. Happily ever after has always been a restful sort of a sentence for me. Happily ever after implies that there was something that must be conquered. It is defiantly not something that comes in an instant.
President Uchtdorf sums it up much better then I ever could when he said "Isn’t it remarkable to know that our eternal Heavenly Father knows you, hears you, watches over you, and loves you with an infinite love? In fact, His love for you is so great that He has granted you this earthly life as a precious gift of 'once upon a time,' complete with your own true story of adventure, trial, and opportunities for greatness, nobility, courage, and love. And, most glorious of all, He offers you a gift beyond price and comprehension. Heavenly Father offers to you the greatest gift of all—eternal life—and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your own 'happily ever after.'"
This blog is to be an account of my adventures, trials, failures and successes. In other word, an account of my fairy tale! Although there will be many small "happily ever afters" in my life that are not to be ignored, this is my journey to the ultimate Happily Ever After.
